Events

Rattle Run Farms is dedicated to being an educational facility.  In order to accomplish our goals, we have updated the website with this new “Events” section.  This section will explain all of the different events that we host here at Rattle Run Farms.

Dressage

imageRattle Run Farms hosts dressage schooling shows throughout the year to encourage horsemen, both young and old, to develop a better relationship with their equine partner in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.  The definition of dressage comes from the French word “Dressier” - to train. It’s an Olympic equestrian sport, yet a basic training discipline for any horse. Dressage requires the horse and rider to combine the strength and agility of gymnastics with the elegance and beauty of ballet. The result is truly the best blend of sport and art. The Dressage tests used at shows are divided into graduated levels for horse and rider, from the most basic walk and trot to the Grand Prix test that is the same test used in the Olympics.

Rattle Run Farms offers several different types of equine clinics. We host dressage clinics, 4-H clinics, Equine Health clinics, and more. RRF is always striving to be an educational facility to encourage horsemen to learn more about the equine disciplines, health, and management.
